Many sites use long trench-style drains to channel all waste water in an area to a single drainage point. Petro Pads specialized for these trench or California drains are available in a wide variety of widths and lengths to ensure optimum coverage, and are easy to clean if heavy grit buildup begins to degrade performance. These pads will remove oil contaminants from any wastewater that enters the drain trench, before it can enter the main drain pipes - protection both the environment from pollution and the site from costly cleanups. Prefilter material is already built into the pad to help remove grit, and the internal structure of the pad itself has been changed from our normal vertical-flow arrangement to allow for improved water flow through the horizontal trench. |
