Petro Pads
Many Petro Barrier Systems products use replaceable pads to provide grit and oil filtration as well as spill containment. While most pre-filter pads handle grit alone and can simply be washed out, spare or replacement filter and pre-filter pads can be ordered at any time by
contacting Petro Barrier Systems. Pads come in a wide range of sizes, so please have the dimensions of pad(s) required available when you contact us.
For any special requests such as pads with filter media to handle non-oil products (heavy metals, etc), please email or speak to our staff directly, and we will be pleased to assist.
Appearance and Performance:Standard Petro Pads are one inch thick, and covered with a tough material that acts as an included grit filter.
Petro Pads filled with our normal Automotive Blend work best with transmission fluid, diesel, gasoline, motor and hydraulic oils, and reduce the concentration of outgoing contaminants to one part per million or lower.
Flow rates will vary by pad size and filter media, but standard pads will pass at least 4 US gallons per minute per square foot.
